Just incase you missed any of the Vancouver 2010 winter olympic games here are some of the best highlights!
I never thought having the olympics in my home city would make me love the games, but when you are in the middle of everything and all the people from around the world it’s hard not to in the olympic spirit! I went down to see the torch and even got to meet the starting goalie for team canada Roberto Luongo!
And the crown jewel of the olympic games in Canada is of course the men’s hockey. Canada won gold and showed the world that hockey really is our game! We invented it and no one can beat us! We won more golds than any other country in history and every medal won on home turf brought tears to the eyes of every person watching at home or standing there as the medals were hung around our athletes necks.
